Just a reminder that it is the healing and wholeness communion service tomorrow  [Thursday 19th ] at 7.30pm.   It will be conducted by Rev’d Dan Haylett.

On Sunday 22nd January we will have a Faith Lunch, as it’s been a little while since we have all eaten together.  It’s our Covenant Service that morning and so this seems a good opportunity to start our church year in fellowship of this kind.  Coffee will be served as usual after the service (thank you to those who have already agreed to go back on this rota – more are welcome) and then lunch will follow at approx 12 noon, followed by a presentation and discussion of the Questionnaire results.

In order that we do not end up with one quiche and fourteen chocolate cakes there will be a savoury/sweet list passed around this Sunday and then on the desk in the office over the next.

Come and join the friendship club which meets up every First Monday of the Month at Keelby Methodist Church from 2.00 to 4.00pm. The cost will be £2.00 per session which includes refreshment.

This month we will meet on Monday 9^th January 2012.  Pam and Keith Hands share with us their wonderful experiences of their visit to Canada.

Please note that this is the 2nd Monday of the month and not the 1st, as usual.

An evening of Christmas food, words and music for all the family.  The be held at The Edge on Friday 16th December, starting at 7.30pm.  Tickets available from The Edge or by calling 01472 507605 – Adults £4; Child £2.50; Family £10.

Information from Julie Kim (nee Edmonds) and her husband who are working in Turkey close to Van, informed us of suffering families due to an Earthquake, which left many people homeless.  Keith Hands has now received all of the churches donations of warm clothing, plus the funds to ship it all to Turkey.  Well done everyone, not least Keith and Pam.
